Can I use store credit toward a purchase?

Yes — store credit can be applied to any eligible purchase at checkout, whether it's from a past rental, a return, or a promotion. Simply select it as a payment option when you check out.

Can I buy an item I rented?

Absolutely — if you've fallen for a piece, it's yours to keep. Just let us know and we'll deduct your rental fee from the purchase price, so you only pay the difference.

Are items new or pre-loved?

Both — our resale collection features a mix of brand new pieces and gently pre-loved items from our rental collection. Either way, every item is professionally cleaned, individually inspected, and in excellent condition before it reaches you.

How does buying work?

Love something in our collection? You can purchase select pieces outright through our Resale section — each listed alongside the original RRP so you can see exactly how much you're saving.

If an item is available to buy, you'll see the Buy Now option displayed directly on the product page, alongside the rental option.

Already rented it and want to keep it? Simply get in touch — we'll deduct your rental fee from the purchase price and guide you through the rest.

Delivery & Returns

Can I return purchased items?

Yes! You have 14 days from delivery to return any unworn, tagged item for a full refund to your original payment method. Return shipping is always free.

Where do you ship purchased items?

We ship all purchases across the European Union via DHL. Once your order is on its way, you'll receive a tracking number by email so you can follow it every step of the way.

Are the clothes cleaned between rentals?

Always. Every item is professionally cleaned, disinfected, and steamed between rentals — then individually quality-checked before it's shipped to you. Your piece arrives fresh, pristine, and ready to wear.

Can I wash the rented item myself?

No need — we've got it covered. Every item is professionally cleaned between rentals to ensure it's treated with the care it deserves.

To protect the fabric and keep each piece in its best condition, please don't wash, dry clean, or treat items yourself. Simply return it and we'll take care of the rest.

Can I buy an item I’ve rented?

How far in advance should I book an item?

We recommend booking at least 10 days before your event to ensure your piece arrives in time — especially for special occasions where there's no room for last-minute stress.

Running short on time? We offer express shipping within Germany for next-day delivery, and same-day pickup if you're based in Munich.

What rental durations do you offer?

We offer three rental periods: 4, 8, or 15 days — so whether you need something for a weekend event or an extended trip, we've got you covered.

Need it for longer? We can arrange an extension for a small daily fee.

Cancellations & Refund

Can I cancel my order?

Yes — you can cancel your rental up to 5 days before your rental start date for a full refund to your original payment method. After that, cancellations are eligible for store credit only.

Delivery & Returns

How can I return my rental?

Simple — a prepaid DHL return label is included in every package. Just repackage your item, attach the label, and drop it off at your nearest DHL shop by the last day of your rental period.

If your local DHL shop is closed on a Sunday or public holiday, you have until the next working day to drop it off.

How will my order be delivered?

We partner with DHL for fast, secure delivery across Europe. Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number by email so you can follow your package every step of the way.

We also offer two additional options for those who need more flexibility:

  • In-person pickup — Collect your order directly from our Munich showroom at Widenmayerstr. 31, 80538 München.
  • Express next-day delivery — Available within Germany for an additional €15. Orders must be placed by 2 PM CET, Monday to Friday.

What happens if I return my rental late?

Timely returns help us ensure every customer receives their order on time, so please drop your item off by the last day of your rental period. If couriers are closed on Sundays or public holidays, you have until the next working day.

Late returns will incur a pro-rata daily fee based on your item's rental rate.

That said, we know life doesn't always go to plan — if something comes up, just get in touch and we'll do our best to help.

How do I know my size?

What if the item doesn’t fit?

No worries — it happens! Simply let us know within 24 hours of delivery and return the item unworn. You'll receive a full refund in store credits.

To avoid fit issues altogether, we offer two handy options before you commit:

  • At-home try-on: Try the piece in the comfort of your own home before your rental begins.
  • Backup option: Order a second size or style as a backup, and return whichever doesn't work.

Damage & Safety

What happens if I damage an item?

We get it — accidents happen!

Every rental includes coverage for minor damage (repairs up to €50), so small things like snags, loose threads, or loose buttons are always on us.

For significant damage, such as large or permanent stains, rips, tears, or burns, you may be charged up to 80% of the retail price, depending on the item. That said, this is extremely rare: less than 0.5% of rentals ever result in a damage charge.

Can I lend items temporarily?

Absolutely! You stay in control of your wardrobe. Simply set a lending window that works for you, and your item will be returned once the agreed period ends — ready to wear again whenever you like.

Do I need to photograph my item to sell or lend?

Not at all — we take care of everything. Once your item is approved, our in-house team handles all product photography so your piece is showcased in the best possible light.

How do I get started as a lender?

It couldn't be easier. Wearr is a fully managed service — no photography, no listings, no customer messages. Just send us your pieces and we handle everything.

How much can I earn by lending?

You earn 50% of every rental fee — and your item can be rented out multiple times, meaning earnings add up over time. Many pieces bring in hundreds of euros through rentals alone, and can still be resold at full resale value afterwards.

You'll receive monthly or quarterly earnings reports so you can track exactly how your wardrobe is performing.

It's a simple, sustainable way to get more out of the pieces you already own.

How often can my item be rented?

It varies — demand depends on the style, versatility, and seasonality of your piece. Some items are rented multiple times a month, particularly those that are trending or easy to style for different occasions. Others are more event-specific or seasonal, and rent less frequently but often at higher value moments.

Either way, we actively promote every listed piece based on fit, style, and what our customers are loving right now — and we'll keep you in the loop on how yours is performing.

What does it mean to lend my items?

Lending means your designer pieces work for you instead of sitting in your wardrobe. We rent them out to our community of fashion lovers on your behalf and you earn every time someone wears them.

We handle everything: photography, storage, cleaning, shipping, and customer support. You simply enjoy the returns.

What happens if my item is damaged?

Your items are fully protected throughout the rental period, so you can list with confidence.

We take care of all minor damages, repairs, and professional cleaning as part of every rental.

In the rare case of significant damage or loss, where an item can no longer be used or repaired, the renter is responsible for purchasing the item at its resale value. Your piece is always protected.

What brands and items do you accept?

We curate a edit of luxury and contemporary pieces that reflect exceptional design, craftsmanship, and style from chic occasionwear and statement pieces to timeless wardrobe staples.

To be listed on Wearr, items should meet the following criteria:

  • Value — Retail value between €300–€2,500 for clothing, and up to €1,000 for bags.
  • Condition — Less than 3 years old, with no stains, damage, or heavy wear.
  • Ethical — We do not accept real fur or items that conflict with our commitment to conscious, ethical fashion.
  • Authenticity — We love distinctive pieces, but cannot accept one-of-a-kind couture or items that cannot be properly authenticated or valued.

All items must come from recent collections (within the last three seasons) to ensure relevance and quality for our community. We reserve the right to decline items that don't meet our standards.
