Let’s talk about that closet of yours.
Yes, the one with the floor-length gown you wore once, the sequin mini you swore would “totally work again for New Year’s,” and the designer bag you had to have… but haven’t touched in a year.
You’re not alone. We’ve all been there standing in front of a bursting wardrobe, feeling like we have nothing to wear, while beautiful pieces sit in the dark waiting for their next moment.
Here’s the thing: fashion doesn’t have to gather dust. It can work for you. And the chicest way to make that happen? Lending.
Because your wardrobe isn’t just clothing, it’s an asset. And assets should pay you back.
Why lend?
At Wearr, we’ve made it possible for your dresses, gowns, and accessories to live multiple glamorous lives while you earn from them effortlessly. That silk gown you wore to your best friend’s wedding? Imagine it twirling at a Tuscan sunset ceremony. That structured mini you wore to a rooftop party? Picture it owning the dance floor in Paris.
When you lend on Wearr:
-
You contribute to circular fashion (goodbye waste, hello sustainability)
-
You free up space, physically and mentally
-
You turn past style moments into passive income
-
You let your pieces be part of someone else’s story
How it works (aka: the easiest side hustle ever)
1. Pick your pieces* – Choose the items from your wardrobe you want to lend out.
*What we accept: Dresses, bags, jewelry, dirndls and shoes. All items should be in excellent to very good condition, designer or high-end ideally retail value €300+.
2. Send them to us – Ship them our way with the label we provide.
3. We handle the rest – Photos, listings, rentals, cleaning, and returns— all managed by the Wearr team.
4. Get paid – You earn 50% of every rental without lifting a finger.
A lender’s story
Sophie had a €950 Zimmermann floral gown she adored… but had worn only once.
Instead of letting it hide in the back of her closet, she listed it on WEARR.
Within weeks, it was booked for a vineyard wedding in Bordeaux. A month later, it appeared at a garden party in Copenhagen. By the end of the summer, it had graced five different events, earning Sophie €720 back, all while staying in pristine condition.
She still owns it. She still loves it. And she still lends it out every season.
In her own words:
“It’s like my dress has a more exciting social life than I do — and it’s paying for my next holiday.”
We’ve seen designer bags make enough to cover a weekend getaway, and cocktail dresses that funded a month of champagne brunches. It’s not just fashion. It’s fashion with returns.
Chic, sustainable, and profitable? That’s called taste.
Lending is the new investing. It’s for the woman who knows her worth, knows her style, and knows that keeping fashion locked away doesn’t make it more valuable sharing it does.
So if you’ve got a gorgeous dress, gown, or bag just waiting for its next main character moment… list it.
Let it dance. Let it shine. Let it pay for your next St. Tropez getaway.
Because trust me there’s nothing more satisfying than knowing your past outfit is helping another woman look and feel incredible… while you’re doing absolutely nothing.
